50 Cent has responded to his son Sire’s request for him to return to music after meeting Travis Scott. Sire, 50’s 11-year-old son, was backstage at Scott’s tour stop at the Prudential Centre in New Jersey on Tuesday (December 26) and appears to have come home wanting his dad to do more music.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, took to Twitter to respond to his son’s request. He tweeted, “I’m not making music anymore. I’m rich. LOL.” The rapper, who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, has not released a studio album since 2014’s “Animal Ambition.”
50 Cent has been busy with other ventures, including producing the hit TV series “Power” and its spinoffs. He also has a new book out called “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter,” which is a memoir and self-help book.
It remains to be seen whether 50 Cent will return to music, but it’s clear that his son Sire is a big fan and wants to see more from his dad.
