Cassie, the singer best known for her 2006 hit "Me & U", is reportedly planning to make a musical comeback after settling her sexual assault lawsuit with her ex-boyfriend Diddy.

Ryan Leslie, the producer and former lover of Cassie, confirmed the news to TMZ on Tuesday (December 12), saying that he had a recent conversation with her and she told him about her tour plans. However, he did not give any details about the dates, venues or collaborators.

Leslie also said that he was not in a position to comment on the allegations that Cassie made against Diddy in her lawsuit, which was filed and settled last month. Cassie accused the rap mogul of raping her, sexually assaulting her and sex trafficking her during their 11-year relationship, which ended in 2018. Diddy has denied all the claims and paid Cassie an undisclosed amount of money to end the legal dispute.

Leslie was the one who discovered Cassie in 2004 and signed her to his label NextSelection. He wrote and produced most of her debut album, Cassie, which featured Diddy on the remix of "Me & U". Leslie and Cassie dated for a while before she left him for Diddy in 2007.

Cassie's musical career stalled after her first album, as she only released one mixtape, RockaByeBaby, in 2013, under Diddy's Bad Boy Records. The project featured guest appearances from Rick Ross, Fabolous, French Montana, Pusha T, Meek Mill and others.

Cassie has not released any new music since then, but she has been focusing on her personal life. She married fitness trainer Alex Fine in 2019 and they have two children together.

Cassie's fans are eagerly awaiting her return to the music scene, especially after the shocking revelations of her lawsuit against Diddy. The singer claimed that Diddy abused her physically, emotionally and sexually, forced her to have sex with male prostitutes, supplied her with drugs and even blew up Kid Cudi's car.

Diddy has also faced more legal troubles, as three more women have sued him for sexual assault in the past month. He has denied all the allegations and vowed to fight them in court.
