Alan Ritchson, the star of "Reacher", has opened up about his and his wife's nomadic lifestyle with their three kids. The actor, who is 41 years old, recently sold his Florida home and has been staying in Airbnbs or hotels so that he doesn't have to be apart from his family for long periods of time.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal published on Tuesday, Ritchson explained that he has to be away from his family to film, which was "hard" for all of them. While on the road, the actor said that his wife, Catherine Ritchson, 39, home-schools their sons, who are 11, nine, and seven.
"Today, my wife, Cat, and I live with our three boys on the road," he told the outlet, adding that he and the financial analyst have been longtime partners; they met in high school and tied the knot in 2006.
Ritchson's nomadic lifestyle is a testament to his commitment to his family. It's not easy to be away from loved ones for long periods of time, but Ritchson has found a way to make it work. His wife's dedication to homeschooling their children is also admirable.
It's clear that Ritchson's family is his top priority, and he's willing to make sacrifices to ensure that they stay together. We wish him and his family all the best in their travels.
