Nairobi, June 12, 2024 — The lifeless body of a 60-year-old woman was discovered floating on a water pan in Nyandiwa village, Alego/Usonga, Siaya County. The woman has been identified as Pamela Atieno Omunya. According to Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo, members of the public found her body while drawing water from the pan.
Pamela Atieno Omunya was last seen by her sister, Irene Adhiambo, with whom she shared supper on Monday night. She had been sleeping at her home in Osumba village, within the neighboring sub-location called Randago.Celebrity gossip videos
The woman’s relatives were shocked when they found her lifeless body several kilometers away from her home, floating on the water pan. Siaya County Police retrieved the body with the assistance of concerned citizens. Notably, there were no visible physical injuries on the deceased.
The body has been transferred to Siaya County Referral Hospital mortuary, where a postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
